Branding: Henrik Stenson

The first of the four major global golf stars I have been rebranding for Sportyard and Dropp is now live. The other three (Kaymer/Quiros/Karlsson) will be rolling out in due course ( no pun intended! ) Once the mood boards were agreed it was a matter of creating Henrik’s world. I have to admit I know very little about the game, but I personally think this actually aided me in the process as it is very different to any other golfers site out there. So far we have had some fantastic feedback. The sponsors are happy, the management and Henrik are happy and the fans are happy – a golfing hatrick!  There will be more to look at and a proper write up once my site is live. Over and out.

It’s been a while…

Well I will tell thee ! It’s been a crazy 6 – 8 months, the GRAND FINALE is I have been working with Sunhouse on … wait for it…. only COKE’S OLYMPIC 2012 MERCHANDISE! This is probably THE biggest job I have ever worked on! Quite a statement considering I have worked on some pretty impressive campaigns in the past but considering this is for one of the most recognisable brands in the world and for one of the biggest events of all time, I think it’s fair to say it’s up there on the kick ass scale! Believe, and I’ll show it all off when the time is right.

Coke’s not the only beverage I have had the recent pleasure of working with. I have also been busy working with Taxi on some exciting projects for Carlsberg, and if your feeling a bit peckish after reading all that I have also done some work for Cadburys. Once again all to be revealed in good time. In between all this I’ve squeezed in a few branding jobs for an incentives company, a gallery out in San Francisco, 3 world leading golfers ( Kaymer / Stenson and Quiros ) and the cherry on the cake some apparel for the one and only international DJ extrodinaire Mr David Guetta and his lovely wife Cathy. Phew!

Presently I’m designing my new website so I can showcase all this lovely new work, as well as past projects. It’s pretty shameful that I have only had a blog representing Melbs but as you can see I have had my hands full.

WOI wins BAFTA

A BIG congratulations to Aardman Digital for winning a BAFTA for the World Of Invention website. I had the honour of working with the team on this great site last year, it was a fantastic project to be involved with and the award couldn’t of gone to a lovelier group of people.

Computer Arts

Heres my contribution to Computer Arts, its just a few words and a couple of pictures, but to be listed with such a talented bunch of peeps I am very honoured, its a great article overall and worth the pennies and pounds.

Hey Mr DJ

The tee ‘DJ Bling’ Bose Collins got me to design for DJ Magazine is now available to buy in black with a luvly jubly gold print front -slick!

A short break

It’s been a crazy 12 months – no breaks, just on it solidly, so it was time to pack the buggy, the bags, the laptop ( yep – still a bit of work to do! ) and head south down to Falmouth, Cornwall. We have hired a beautiful little cottage out in the sticks – pure bliss. The internet is a bit temperamental and the phone is all out of breath for trying to get a signal – but those are the good points. (-: – see you next week!

Chuffed

Very chuffed to be part of this list, look at them names, world leading ( blush ), check out the piece in Computer Arts from 6th May, hopefully I have done myself justice and earned that place.

Digital Arts Cover + Tutorial

Out this month, the new Digital Arts magazine with a cover and tutorial by moi. Its a repeat pattern I did for 2Xanadu a few months back, it was a perfect pick for this months ‘Colour’ themed edition & inside is a step by step guide so you can create your own!

BIG BIG BIG JOB!

One of the biggest jobs I have ever had the privilege to work on – it’s so BIG and so secret that is nuff said. Watch this space….around 2012.

Alice: Madness Returns

Two of the three website designs I did for Trade In Cool /  EA Games’s ‘Alice: Madness Returns‘ has gone live: ‘Queensland and Mysterious East’.

This was a real fun project to work on, the game it self is a real work of art, its a lot darker than what you would expect, no fluffy white rabbits here, instead the Wonderland has been ran through the macabre mill over and over ! The third design should be live soon.
