Wing are a motion / visual creative agency based in Soho, they asked SunHouse (who I now work 3 days a week for) to design there new identity and branding. Heres some WIP for the logo, the final logo is finished, but Im not going to post these till I have some photos of the studio decals / stationary / style guide as it all looks brilliant! So heres some theory snapshots which I personally was happy with from the earlier stages.
WIP. Lovely branding job. Foil. Quality Stock – I can smell the ink already hmmmm….
The new AnyForty x Melbs crew neck is out ‘Oh Fuck!’. Designed in Laker purples and yellows it was lovingly printed by the folks at White Duck and it looks amazing, I am so chuffed with the end result, you can purchase the top here. AnyForty goes from strength to strength, and its all run by one guy, Alan Wardle, he works so hard to push the A40 brand, gotta give the man credit, its a tough market to break but hes doing it with bags of love and passion – support the independents and go buy something!
Me and the boy wonder Ollie Munden spent a wee bit of time over at Taxi Studio just before Christmas going through Posca’s at the rate of knots to produce this rather epic mural – and this is just one of the 2 walls! I will have pics of the other wall soon. The idea is based around being ‘Fearless’ so after banging our heads together with the peeps from Taxi we settled on the idea of a jungle, a rather scary one, full of flesh eating plants and beasts, and if you manage to get past these theres the tribes men to battle through. It was a real joy, and a long over due marker-fest mash up with Ollie, its been on the cards for a while, and the first of many MELBS X MEGA MUNDEN collab’s.
Sneak of some rather lovely illustration for a lovely little company – more soon.
Here are a few designs that won me the job to design David & Cathy Guetta’s new Fuck Me I’m Famous range this season. These were the first set of designs I submitted, these were not picked, but it was enough to wet there whistles as I am presently sorting out phase 2. All will be shown in the near future.
A big thank you to the Bose Collins boys for landing me this tasty fish.
Some branding and identity work for a cool company who do lots of cool things – and thats about as much as I can say right now, more soon.
Who doesn’t love Deadly 60! If you don’t know what I am talking about, where have you been!? Its one of CBBC’s most successful TV series. In short it follows the shows star Steve Backshall and his team around the globe on there hunt for the most deadliest and coolest animals. So when Aardman Digital asked me to come onboard to help them design the game screens and Power Up icons I jumped at the chance. As much as I loved designing the screen graphics, it was the icons I had real fun with, I had to create a visual language that appealed to kids, as well as sit comfortably in Deadly’s world. With great titles like ‘ Power Of Great White Shark’ & ‘Awesomeness Of Tiger’ it really squeezed and pushed the creative muscles, to create 15 collective symbols that worked big and small, digital and print, bold and fun was quite the challenge – but I think I pulled it off (-:
Enjoy the game here, to quote the tiger, its AWESOME!
I have been in a lot of press lately which is great ( and very much appreciated! ) Web Designer for my twitter page, Web User gave one of my site designs 5 stars and this tutorial for Advanced Photoshop. Some colourful pixel fun all wrapped up in a Zilla shaped bow!
