I am now being represented by Rarebird. I have been asked numerous times in the past by different agents but I just wasn’t interested at the time. However, Rarebird, well more to the point Kelly Fysh who runs it, knows her onions and is pretty cool to boot. She’s really passionate about the artists she’s representing (and they are a great bunch) and it just feels right, so I have made the leap to official representation! Check us out here.
If you are around you should go check this out. I am chuffed to actually be in this very issue they are launching on Friday (Cheers Dave). London heads (and beyond) get down there!
With the Olympics just around the corner I will finally be able to show the work I did for SunHouse on the Coke 2012 merchandise and Torch Relay really soon (teasers attached). It’s taking a while to collate as there is so much of it!
…XAVI!! …HUGE job. More soon.
This was really fun. I am a self confessed comic book geek, so when SunHouse was asked by a fellow comic book geek to design his pub’s wine list in the style of one I couldn’t wait to get started. The pub if you haven’t guessed already is called The Red Lion. Hopefully we are going to carry the theme across all the pub’s stationary and personally I am hoping they use this beast on the outdoor sign. Now that would be amazing!
At last it’s finished. It took some toing and froing but I got there. Having a break from it really helped. The idea is based on the SunHouse stained glass windows. We don’t have stained glass windows, but when asked, people imagined there to be. It must be the image the word ‘SunHouse’ conjured up. This really appealed to me – the very roots of the image and idea being grounded in imagination. It just seemed right to use this as the foundation for the logo and the rest just happened naturally. Always a good sign. It feels right, it’s fun, versatile, strong and it means business – like us.
I recently did another illustration for Best App magazine. They wanted it to be in the same look and feel as last months illustration I did for them. This one is based on medieval themed RPG’s. A rather tranquil scene!
Some Jubilee fun for Boston Tea Party.
Due to public demand the Mad Hatter will now be a tea towel, thanks to everyones positive feedback, I will keep you all posted when there ready!
