I visited Selfridges Oxford Street on Friday to check out the Marmite Pop Up Shop I helped put together with the brill Sunhouse Creative. I was so chuffed to see it in the flesh….well wood and plastic, it looked amazing, I loved the tea chests and the print looked fantastic and while I was there a family of Americans purchased 2 cupcake tees I designed, I felt all warm and fuzzy inside.
Friday night was the launch night for the Bespoke: Creative show in London, Brick Lane. It was a really great night put together by 2Xanadu and Mcfaul Studios. Me and Mega Munden were asked to paint some bikes for charity, it was a little harder than we anticipated but still great fun, heres some snaps of my work that was spotted around the place ( from my McFaul days and beyond ), I was especially chuffed with the Luma city repeat pattern bike and canvas – oh and thats the world famous Mr Jimmy Choo in front of one of my canvas’s !
A huge high five to John, Peter and Zee for making it happen, top work guys.
I have just done some promotional material / images / prints for Bespoke: Creative organised by 2xanadu / Luma & McFaul Studios, I wanted to go quite abstract and avoid the obvious bike cliches & LUMA the bikes used in the event are based in Hong Kong, so it seemed only right to throw some neon bright colours into the mix!
The show is only on for the weekend so make sure you get yourself down there and check it out, there are frames painted by some great artists and designers to gander at, and me and Mr Ollie Munden will be scribbling all over a couple of bikes for charity on the Friday evening.
Some pics for you to look at if you cant make the show, tea crates and tees, A1 print and huge wall graphics – it looks AMAZING, love seeing a project like this come to life, big thanks to Sunhouse Creative for getting me involved (and for these pics! ) – Its in this weeks Design Week to -v.chuffed.
Heres what I have been working on for the past 4 weeks, this is only the tip of the iceberg, theres more to see and come, tees and tea chests, pop up logos and marmite christmas cards – its been a ball, I have been working for the brilliant Sunhouse Creative. White Duck pulled it off as usual for the A1 screen print, read all about it here, when the shows installed I will post photos here for those of you who cant make it – but if you can make the Oxford Street / Birmingham / Manchester shows – GO!
Thanks to White Duck for lend of the photos – good with the camera as well as the screens!
A small sneaky peek of the crimbo card I have done for Mr Ben Steers over at AIWFC – all for a good cause – all to be revealed very soon!
Heres my tee design for Any Forty – BIG BAD WOLF – buy the tee when its out and you will be able to huff and puff and blow any muthas house down!
Brilliant – or should that be CRACKING! The new Wallace and Gromit World Of Invention BBC website is now live, I was drafted in by Aardman to help with the design / look for the site, it was a fantastic job to work on, and the team at Aardman Digital are a real pleasure to work with. The show starts early November so make sure you catch it, its our favourite loveable two at there best! Check the website out here
I am chuffed with this, its got me through to the second round of a exclusive pitch so I did something right ! Thats all I can say and this is all I can show. Dark, moody comic book sci-fi & I’m v.excited, presently working on phase 2. Nuff.
Jats from BitBots asked me to customise one of his little Jinnys for the launch party at the v.cool Play Lounge, I based him on the Blu Hatter from my Stoned On Saturdays series, time was against me unfortunately due to a crazy workload, and I was pushed for minutes let alone days, but I still managed this, it was real fun to do, couldn’t make the party but from the photos and talk looks like it was a tip top night.
